Sportswear giant Nike, took inspiration from Super Eagles jersey to the 1995 King Fahd Cup-now known as FIFA Confederations Cup-for Nigeria's 2018 FIFA World Cup kit.
It also borrows from the jersey the Super Eagles wore to play England in the cracking friendly at Wembley in 1994.
The kit sponsor unveiled the jerseys, with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), at a ceremony in London, England on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
Super Eagles youngsters Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and team captain, John Obi Mikel were spotted in the new jerseys at the ceremony

There are two versions of the Super Eagles World Cup jersey, the all green jersey and the pitch green jersey with white and black patterns.

As a nod to pop culture, Nigerian pop star Wizkid was also present at the unveiling in London. The singer shared snaps of himself rocking the jersey alongside Arsenal starlet Iwobi.

Wizkid also shared a snap of him working on a customized Nike jersey with the logo of his imprint Star Boy on the front. Could a collaboration be in the works?

The 2018 World Cup jersey borrows inspiration from the jersey the Super Eagles wore in 1995 during the King Fahd Cup.

So these are the new Nigeria jerseys unveiled today in London by Nike. I've been hearing words like "terrible", "poor", "looks like waterfalls", etc.
